Our laughter workshops are a playful, supportive space to breathe, release tension, and reconnect with joy. Each session is designed to uplift your mood, boost resilience, and remind you that laughter is more than fun — it’s medicine for body, mind, and spirit.

We aim to make laughter therapy recognised more widey for its holistic benefit and invite more people to reconnect with this powerful tool. Whether you’re feeling stressed, disconnected, or simply curious, these sessions offer a safe and welcoming space to explore the power of laughter.

At Gaia, our mission is to challenge the status quo in health. We believe wellbeing should be inclusive and accessible, and our vision is that one day practices like laughter therapy will be recognised as essential tools for community health and prescribed through the NHS.

Laughter Therapy Facilitator

I’m Sally Dixey, co-founder of Gaia Wellbeing Collective CIC, and I’ll be holding space for our laughter sessions.

I’m a trained Laughter Therapist with a background in coaching and psychology. My approach is warm, playful, and inclusive, built on the belief that laughter is a natural strength we can tap into when given the freedom to express it.

Through guided laughter, breathwork, and playful techniques, I create spaces where people can release tension, build resilience, and reconnect with joy. For me, laughter isn’t just about fun in the moment — it’s a powerful tool for healing, self-discovery, and feeling good from the inside out.

 We hold structured 6 week courses where you learn the science and art behind intentional laughter and how it can be used to improve physical and mental wellbeing.

At the end of the course you will have learned simple ways to integrate an intentional daily laughter practise, feel more connected with your playful side and how we can use intentional laughter to navigate life’s challenges.
