Our women’s circles are a welcoming space to slow down, breathe, and connect. Each gathering is designed to support your wellbeing, help you feel seen and heard, and remind you that you don’t have to journey through life alone.
Thanks to year-long funding from the Greenwich Healthier Communities programme, all places are free of charge. This project gives us the opportunity to reach more women, especially those who may have never joined a circle before, who feel isolated or disconnected, or who are looking for a safe space to belong.
At Gaia, our mission is to challenge the status quo in health. We believe wellbeing should be inclusive and accessible, and our vision is that one day sharing circles will be recognised as a vital part of community health and prescribed through the NHS.
What to expect:
Every Wednesday - 5.30 to 7.30pm at Plot 9 Maze Hill

I’m Kika Degani, co-founder of Gaia Wellbeing Collective CIC, and I’ll be holding space for our circles. I am a trained facilitator with a background in ecology and community wellbeing, and my vision is that one day sharing circles will be the medicine prescribed by the NHS. For me, sitting in circle is about more than coming together, it’s about remembering that we all carry wisdom, and that when we listen deeply to one another, healing and connection naturally unfold. I bring warmth, presence, and gentle guidance, weaving together storytelling, reflection, and simple practices that help us feel grounded and connected.

The focus of these circles is on people who have been socialised as, or currently identify as women, creating a space to share and explore those unique experiences. We welcome anyone who identifies as a woman, as well as female-bodied non-binary people and trans women who feel drawn to this space. We honour the diverse lived experiences of women, and those socialised as women, and warmly welcome all who carry those identities. We also recognise that non-binary people, trans people, and men may benefit from spaces designed specifically for their own lived experiences. In the future, we aim to expand and develop circles dedicated to these identities, so that everyone in our wider community has a place where they feel fully at home.
